YGC silicone rubber cable

Check the actual temperature

Record both the normal and maximum cable temperature, the heat source, exposure duration and ventilation. The published YGC family has an operating-temperature range of -60°C to 180°C. The allowable conductor temperature and current capacity for the final size must be confirmed for the installation.

Choose the cable shape and support

YGC is a round silicone rubber cable. YGCB provides a flat construction, while YGC-G and YGCB-G add steel-wire support for applications that require it. Select the shape and support from the cable path and tensile load.

Add shielding only when required

YGCP is the shielded round option. Define the circuit, nearby interference sources and termination method before selecting it. Shielding and high-temperature performance are separate parts of the specification.

Review mechanical and environmental exposure

Check bending, abrasion, pulling force, oils, chemicals, moisture and outdoor exposure. A wide temperature rating does not by itself confirm suitability for every chemical or mechanical condition.

Information needed for selection

Provide rated voltage, core count, conductor cross-section, cable shape, movement, minimum installation radius, support or shielding requirement, temperature profile, environmental exposure and required length. The published YGC models are rated 0.6/1 kV; confirm the ordered construction before purchase.
